Taxidermy Project

A good friend gave me a red fox about a month ago and I just now finished tanning it!

Nice pictures, Stephen. Dad shot a raccoon a few weeks ago, and I am currently in the process of letting it rot and decay so I can salvage the bones for my manly library...I need to put it on an ant bed so they can help me. Ideally, I would glue the bones together somehow to give it a fierce predatorial stance.

Kyle:
That sounds interesting. I'd love to know how it turns out!

Spencer:
VERY DIFFICULT!!!
(jk!)
Actually it's easier than it looks.
No, I'm not taking orders unless my inventory increases, which is not likely!

I like it. Give me thirty years to get out of school, and I might want to learn. : )

Reminds me of a a friend (now a veterinarian) who used to tell me excitedly about the road kill he would find. "It was still warm," he used to say with excitement.

He was also into taxidermy.
