Post- Inagauration Post

Well, people..... Barack Obama is our president!

The commander in chief.

A huge responsibility now rests on his shoulders. He took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, though whether or not he will abide by that oath is another question altogether. His past history certainly doesn't make me hopeful. The inauguration itself was really very saddening to me. I really couldn't believe all of those people out there cheering for Obama were so deceived to think that he is the answer to all of our problems. I enjoyed the song by John Williams, which you can view here if you haven't heard it already.
The main problem I had with the whole thing was the fact that $150,000,000 of taxpayer money was used for the inauguration. And that was just for the Washington inauguration! The Birmingham inauguration party cost about $50,000 of taxpayer money. No telling how many millions of dollars were spent across the country in "celebration".

And the economy continues to decline.

But our God is in heaven: he does whatsoever he will.- Psalm 115:3

Did I hear parts of All Creatures Of Our God and King in that piece?
Ironic.

I'm not sure, it sounded like a bunch of different stuff thrown together!
It was beautiful, though.
Thanks for the comment!
