Pic Of The Day

We were working around the house the other day and noticed that a lot of cars were going very slow in front of our house.

When we stepped back and looked at the "big picture", we found out why!

That "wee, humble, cottage" is the abode of yours truly. Turns out, the hunting club behind our house was doing a "controlled burn".
Before you begin to panic, allow me to inform you that the fire is now out, although we are about to suffocate from smoke inhalation!

We saw the smoke from our house! It looked like a huge storm cloud! How far behind your house was the burning? And why didn't they let you know they were doing it?

Hope to see y'all at the camp out!

Thanks for the comment.
It was about 300 yds from our house. Thank goodness the wind wasn't blowing!
"And why didn't they let you know they were doing it?"
We're wondering the same thing!

Them Injuns have laid siege to the Boyd clan!

JK ;).

Fort Benning burns off ALOT around this time of year, of course they get to use Jeep mounted flamethrowers, I prefer gasoline.

God Bless,
