Scottish History Evening In Georgia

Thursday, August 28th 7:00 No Charge

At the end of June, Circa historian Bill Potter helped lead a two week history tour of Scotland for Vision Forum. About 15 families (c. 100 people) from around the United States attended the tour. Mr. Potter is going to deliver a lecture entitled “The Military History of Scotland, from William Wallace to Bonnie Prince Charlie” and talk about the battlefield sites and castles of Scotland. Also on the trip was Dr. Joseph Morecraft, an internationally known church historian and Pastor of Chalcedon Presbyterian Church in Cumming, Georgia. He will be delivering a lecture entitled “The Reformation in Scotland, 1550-1688” the same evening. The lectures are scheduled to be 40 minutes each, with time for questions. This event will be held at the Circa History Guild, in Alpharetta Georgia.
